Hi! I’m Elise Hannum and I am an Assistant Editor on the Culture team at The Atlantic. I was a 2024 fellow at the National Critics Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. I’m a graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, a double major in sociology and a minor in French. I’m based in New York City.
In my free time I watch TV shows from before I was born, hunt for cheap Broadway tickets and try to overcome my anxieties about undercooking meat.
